So, this is the one I did for my dad for the Christmastime. It's him fighting a bear. Well, not so much fighting....
Story goes like this, must've been about 15 or so years ago. My family was camping and there was some sort of bear trouble that year. So long story short, a bear (possibly black bear I really can't remember too good) makes his way into the campsite and everyone's all scared-like. So this bear makes his way around the area and finds himself in our little lot. My Grandmother and my little sister are off to the washroom so they miss the whole event. Now super-brave me, hops into the van (having grabbed my Gameboy, I'm in for the long haul) and without thinking, locks all the doors, leaving the rest of my family to fend for themselves. Now my father grabs a log or tree, it's all pretty fuzzy now and everytime I tell the story it gets more and more embelished. He also grabs a whole bunch of little stones. He starts swinging the log around, hitting the other trees in the area, throws the rocks against trees as well and screeching some sort of crazy Malaysian mumbo-jumbo.
- Side note, my father is from the wild jungles of Borneo.
So now the bear gets scared off and runs away through the forest. So dad saved our family from a bear. Well, probably just the bacon in the cooler, but saved it non the less. Now, as this all goes down, just up the road from where we're all camped, stands about 8-10 big hulking young North-American males all weoponed up with whatever they could find, hockey sticks, brooms and the like, all in awe of this tiny little chinese 40-year-old that scared off the bear. Fun.
